6D Microblading

Home / Services / 6D Microblading

Unlike a regular tattoo, 6D Microblading is a semi-permanent technique whereby natural pigment is implanted into the upper dermal layer of the skin by use of a manual hand held tool which comprises of ultra fine needles grouped together to form a blade, this creates unbelievable hair like strokes which resemble real hair to form the perfect brows. Microblading allows the artist to drastically correct, enhance or fully reconstruct an eyebrow and is great for anyone suffering from alopecia or chemotherapy as well as just a lack of definition/shape, scars or gaps in the brows, thin brows caused by years of over tweezing or just plain brows you want to reshape.

1.Initial procedure- This takes roughly 2 hours. During this time, your therapist will immediately apply a topical anesthetic which will last 20-30 minutes, whilst the numbing is taking place, your desired brow look will be discussed and pigment will be chosen. After 20-30 minutes of numbing, your therapist will then start the measuring process, and although our faces are not perfectly symmetrical (one side is usually flatter than the other), your therapist will do their very best to create as much symmetry as possible! As the saying goes- Brows are sisters, not twins. Once you are satisfied with the basic drawn on shape and symmetry, the pigment is then gently etched into the skin.

2.The touch up- The second step of the procedure is the touch up appointment. The touch up takes approximately 1 hour to complete. This is done no sooner than 28 days and no later than 60 days. It is imperative you complete the touch up treatment. Without it, the results will not be optimal. Colour will fade between 30-50% within the 28 days as the skin heals, peels and fades. The touch up corrects any irregularities in the microbladed hair strokes, colour tones and finishes the process. Occasionally a third touch up (4-6 weeks later) is necessary for certain clients where the pigment does not take well to the skin.
