It is an ideal treatment for clients wanting to improve brow shape, restore fullness in sparse areas, and enjoy a more polished brow with less daily effort.

The Process

A microblading appointment includes a detailed consultation, brow mapping and shaping, pigment selection, and the treatment itself. Every step is carried out carefully to ensure the brows are customised thoughtfully and performed safely.

Because this is a semi-permanent treatment, the brows will go through a healing process after the initial appointment. A perfecting touch-up is typically recommended once the brows have healed, allowing any areas that have healed lighter to be refined and the final result to be completed.

All microblading clients also go home with guided aftercare to help support the healing process and protect the quality of their results.

Suitability & Brow Health

At Browtique, microblading is performed with a strong focus on healed results, skin integrity, and long-term brow health. Because this treatment is not suited to every skin type or brow history, all clients are required to send clear photographs of their brows via WhatsApp for approval before booking.

Microblading is generally best suited to clients with natural brows that have not been previously tattooed, and skin types that are likely to retain crisp, refined hair strokes well.

Browtique does not currently offer corrective work, cover-ups, or treatment over previous brow tattooing performed elsewhere.

Microblading is not always the most suitable option for very delicate, thin, or mature skin, as these skin types may be more prone to pigment migration and may not retain crisp, refined hair strokes as intended. Where this is the case, honest guidance will always be given in the client’s best interest.

Touch-ups are approached conservatively and only recommended where appropriate. To protect the skin and preserve the quality of healed results, brows are never overworked with unnecessary repeat appointments.

Important Treatment Considerations

Before booking, it is important to understand that certain factors may affect your suitability for microblading, your healed results, or when the treatment can safely be performed.

Certain medications, recent aesthetic treatments, lifestyle factors, and health conditions may mean that treatment needs to be postponed or that a different treatment option may be more appropriate. This can include, but is not limited to:

  • Certain medications that may affect the skin, healing, or bleeding response,
  • Recent Botox or similar injectable treatments,
  • Recent chemical peels, active resurfacing treatments, or strong skincare,
  • Alcohol consumption prior to treatment,
  • Previous brow tattooing,
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding,
  • Relevant health conditions that may affect healing or pigment retention.

For this reason, all relevant medical history, medications, and recent treatments must be disclosed prior to your appointment.

All PMU bookings at Browtique require brow approval prior to booking, as not every treatment is suited to every client. Clear photos can be sent via WhatsApp so the most suitable option can be recommended.
